We're looking for an exceptional talent to join our HR team, focusing on health, safety, and environmental programs for our Rochester, NH facility.

Principle duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Increase employee safety awareness by providing comprehensive and consistent training, both regulatory and company-mandated;
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems, procedures, and educational information;
  • Lead the Job Safety Analysist of processes, equipment, materials handling, chemicals, and ergonomics;
  • Acts as Alternate Emergency Coordinator, responsible for implementation of the facility's Contingency Plan;
  • Assist in development of document management systems, including maintenance of training records, required inspections, and data collection/input for environmental reporting;
  • Responsible for safe handling and movement of hazardous materials, including waste.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environment or a related field with minimum of 6 months working in an HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards. NH Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification and OSH 10 Hour General Industry Certification strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
