DescriptionArcadis is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our Environment Business Line Team in our Dallas office.

You will support environmental site characterization, investigation, remediation, and permitting projects, and work alongside and support mid- to senior-level managers and multiple project teams.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assisting Project Managers (PMs) and Task Managers (TMs) with planning and performing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.Exhibiting ownership of delegated tasks, including responsibility for coordinating and delivering on-schedule and on-budget tasks and submittals.Preparing subcontracts and overseeing the work of subcontractors.Performing fieldwork which may include contractor/vendor oversight for site characterization, soil sampling and/or groundwater/remediation well installation and construction, groundwater sampling, and excavation oversight.Assisting with environmental remedial system and in-situ technology treatment design and assessments.Performing remedial system operation and maintenance (O&M), and monitoring. Assist in preparation of O&M reports.Writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memorandums.Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file reviews, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts.Key Attributes:Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and exhibit independent thinkingAbility to work in a team setting, as well as independentlyThis position encompasses both office work (task management, data analysis, report preparation, scope preparation, and client communications) as well as field work. Estimated travel is up to 70% and 30% office with travel reduced with career growth.
