The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (WMed) is recruiting a full-time OB GYN surgeon in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join a developing academic division within a thriving department established in 2018. Applicants at all faculty ranks will be considered.
Responsibilities will include direct patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and collaborating with other departments in clinical research and projects. Successful candidates will have a proven history of excellent clinical and surgical skills, involvement with clinical research, and strong desire to be involved with resident teaching.
Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board certification or eligibility, and qualifications to obtain a Michigan Medical License. Previous faculty experience in an academic setting is preferred. Salary and academic rank are based on qualifications.

The Department of Pathology faculty serve as the Office of the Medical Examiner for counties throughout Michigan and northern Indiana.
The W.E. Upjohn M.D. Campus located in downtown Kalamazoo serves as the primary educational facility with faculty and administrative offices, student study and social spaces, team-based learning halls, a state-of-the-art Simulation Center accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, basic science research labs, as well as toxicology and forensic pathology labs.
