Position Summary: The Environmental Compliance Coordinator
(ECC) provides environmental support for operating areas and serves
as a liaison between environmental and operations organizations on site-wide
initiatives. The ECC leads efforts to improve operating areas'
environmental performance by developing and facilitating the execution of
environmental improvement plans. Additionally, the ECC provides technical
expertise, mentoring and coaching for site personnel/departments and the Environmental
Team (auditing, requests for change (RFC)/Management of change or MOC). The ECC supports the Environmental department
in the execution of all monitoring, compliance, and improvement activities. This role reports to the HSE Manager.

Duties and
Responsibilities
:

·
Leads by example and engages employees daily
to follow AdvanSix Cardinal rules, procedures, and policies

·
Assist in managing the electronic filing for
the Management Systems at the site as well as physical file management as
required in accordance with record retention policy

·
Provide expert technical safety support across
all levels of the organization

·
Act as liaison between operating areas and the
environmental functions at the site

·
Assist in establishing AOP, Objectives, goals
and targets and programs updates to promote continuous improvements

·
Assist in the development of current
computer-based training and other training materials, conduct in-person
training as needed on all environmental based topics and coordinate with the
training leader to ensure completion in accordance with RC 14001 Standard

·
Participate in Capital project scoping and
design as a Subject Matter Expert

·
Complete environmental field walks, audits,
and observations with area personnel

·
Participate in investigations and ensure
corrective actions are completed and documented properly

·
Lead teams for environmental improvement
activities

·
Maintain the electronic Management of Change
(MOC) system as it relates to investigations, MOC approvals, Pre-Start Up
Safety Review approvals and risk ranking

·
Develop and maintain area specific
environmental standards, forms, records, policies, and guidance documents

·
Participate in periodic internal and external
audits across all three AdvanSix sites and assist the HSE Management System Leader
in organizing RC 14001 Internal Audits and inspections

·
Maintain routine environmental metrics and
data entry needs; track and communicate environmental performance to plant
operations areas

·
Complete annual Effectiveness of Corrective
Action reviews of all significant events in IMPACT (event tracking system).

·
Develop and support the implementation of
environmental programs and practices consistent with the regulatory and
corporate requirements

·
Participate in HSE activities and teams to
improve and drive the HSE maturity to the next level

Basic
Qualifications:


·
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations, environmental science,
or similar field

·
7-10 years of experience in an Industrial/Chemical manufacturing
environment in lieu of degree

·
3 years of experience in Industrial/Chemical manufacturing
environment

Additional
Qualifications:


·
Experience working within a unionized environment is a plus

·
Chemical manufacturing experience preferred

·
Able to influence non-direct reports

Strong written and verbal communication skills

for action and a willingness to learn

·

·
Strong analytical skills, able to use data, and communicate key
trends, develop and execute continuous safety improvement plans

·
Proficient computer skills for use of SAP,
SharePoint, and Microsoft Office programs
