DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing, dynamic R&D team working on the development of a novel technology platform that will enable characterization of the proteome at single molecule resolution. The successful candidate will be a flexible and collaborative self-starter with experience in designing and executing experiments. Strong troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail are essential for this role. Willingness to present data to small and large groups is important. Must be adaptable and thrive in a startup environment. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan, execute and analyze the results of single molecule imaging experiments to support the development of a proteome analyzer. * Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot reagents, materials, and equipment as they pertain to the Nautilus Assay platform. * Analyze and accurately record experimental data, documenting appropriately in lab notebooks and reports using best practices. * Produce high-quality results within budget and timelines. * Clearly communicate results through written reports and regular data presentations to small and large groups. * Create and validate SOPs to support laboratory operations and technology platforms. * Be a strong individual contributor as well as a collaborative team member. * Perform other work-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * B.S. or M.S. in Bioengineering, Chemical engineering, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology or a related field. * 3-5 years of research experience in biotech, medical device research, or related fields. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Experience in fluorescence microscopy and assay development strongly preferred. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Data-driven with a proven ability to produce high-quality results under aggressive timelines. * Team player with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
