Supervisory Environmental Care Specialist

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: having at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) in Federal Service that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of a Supervisory Environmental Care Specialist GS-11. Specialized experience includes: having knowledge of the organizational work flow, management role and the responsibility of labor management relations; planning of staffing resources, familiarity with the terms of the negotiated agreement; personnel safety, materials management, budget formulations; determination of supplies and equipment required for environmental care functions; chemical and biological concept utilized in a wide range of environmental sanitation and waste management programs; and skills in communicating, both orally and in writing in-order to present proposals, recommendations, status reports, etc. OR
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION having a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a related field of study? This education must have been obtained at an accredited college or university. One (1) year of full-time graduate education is the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one (1) year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, eighteen (18) semester hours will be considered as satisfying the one (1) year of full-time study requirement. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
