Director of Corporate Strategy

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Corporate Strategy is a key role in preparing our organization for breakthrough growth. In partnership with the Vice President of Corporate Strategy this leader will help define the long term vision for the organization. This role will also be tasked with finding the new business opportunities that will help prepare the organization for the future and deliver transformative partnerships and acquisitions. This role will also be tasked with presenting and gaining alignment to these opportunities in collaboration with the Business Unit Presidents while also acting as the primary conduit for industry and competitive expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Identify synergistic opportunities for relationships with start-ups, industry organizations, academic institutions, tech incubators, and established firms.
- Assist in the development of the Mid-Term Plan through the coordination of 12+ Presidents' vision of their businesses consolidated into a tangible cohesive narrative
- Evaluate, develop the financial analysis for, and pursue investments that deliver against those core business strategies
- Partner with BU Presidents in the creation of BU-specific strategies and in the development of projects and programs that deliver against those strategies
- Directly structure and lead corporate strategic projects
Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- 8 years of relevant experience in the business, strategic development, project leadership, finance, marketing and/or business development fields
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Excellent corporate financial acumen
- Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity with proven capability to strategically problem-solve
- Collaborative approach and outstanding listening skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree ; 10+ years of relevant experience including 7+ years management or leadership experienceOr Master's degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5-7 years management or leadership experience
