Job Summary :

Come join our dynamic team of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professionals! Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) has an opportunity for an energetic, motivated, levelheaded and self-directed Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to support our ongoing compliance and risk reduction efforts at the Andover, MA site.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

* Implement environmental compliance programs to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EHS requirements.
* Develop and support sustainability practices and programs that align with our long term goals.
* Manage data and reporting related to sustainability programs.
* Develop and implement programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance and sustainability programs.
* Serve as a point of contact for multi-media environmental compliance including air, wastewater, toxics, and solid/hazardous waste, and completing required environmental reporting.
* Identify environmental risk and complete due diligence; investigate root cause for environmental incidents.
* Investigate and resolve environmental compliance questions and concerns.
* Conduct and document inspections and corrective actions in a timely manner.
* Interface with Raytheon EHS employees across the business and with regulatory agencies as required.
* Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Position requires limited travel for participation in Company seminars, EHS audits and training opportunities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

* BS/BA degree in Safety, Engineering, Science, or Mathematics or other related field of Science.
* 5 years EHS related experience or master's degree with 3 years of EHS related experience.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

* Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to work with online tools/databases
* Previous experience in managing EHS issues in a union work environment
* Project management and execution skills
