What You Will Be Doing Collaborating closely with our viral vaccine technology group, you will be the primary infectious disease SME to direct the team in the:
1. Development of the next generation of our viral vaccine vectors for infectious diseases
2. Evaluation of new infectious disease targets
3. Introduction of the assays and execution of proof-of-concept studies
Daily responsibilities include:
- Evaluation of new infectious disease targets and the development of vaccines to target these diseases
- Generate data to support new and current clinical targets
- Development of specific immune assays for vaccine evaluation.
- Such assays could include viral neutralization assays, Hemagglutination assays or other relevant functional assays
- Evaluate in vivo models to determine vaccine efficacy
- Manage external studies run by CROs
- Contribute to report writing & regulatory documentation
Expectation for up to 70% bench work
What You Need for this Position PhD + 4 years' relevant -industry- experience
Strong experience in infectious diseases and molecular biology
