Job Description
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Supports project management team by setting up standard forms, reviewing paperwork, and assisting project manager lead
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Communicate with project manager lead and the laboratory regarding general/ technical issues and questions about analyses, turnaround times, sample status, results, etc. via phone and e-mail
  • Relay technical information between the client and the laboratory via telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face meetings
  • Review client requests and requirements for projects by assisting team of project managers
  • Coordinate client projects from beginning to end using electronic forms and other appropriate communication tools, including creating sample setup forms and bottle orders
  • Audit acknowledgements and client paperwork for new work received and correct as necessary
  • Obtain appropriate work authorization documents (purchase order or signed quote) indicating project acceptance
  • Update internal systems with administrative and technical information about clients
  • Identify and investigate administrative and technical problems and coordinate resolution/corrective action
  • Attend meetings within the laboratory
  • Assist with financial, purchase order, and late payment issues for assigned accounts as needed
  • Administrative activities (photocopying, word processing, paperwork delivery, etc.)
  • Cross-training and/or assisting in other departments
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required. Education - Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry preferred)

Experience - At least two years customer service or laboratory; computer use

Skils - Ability to understand analytical requirements and organize projects with attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and relate well to people; mental and emotional stability, ability to handle stress; strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to work independently, self-motivated; ability to recognize and solve problems; ability to understand, interpret, and follow company policy; dedication to quality, ethics, and customer service; pride in appearance, conduct, and company;

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
