Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to assist with ongoing regulatory environmental compliance programs related to a manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities:

* Facilitate accurate, timely and efficient preparation of compliance reports and plans
* Provide technical support, advice, troubleshooting for environmental regulations (air, water, waste, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements
* Conduct sampling, monitoring, and inspections as required by permit and/or regulations
* Perform environmental monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting related to environmental management systems and permits
* Perform routine industrial and hazardous waste management activities such as waste inventories inspection, vendor scheduling and waste haul oversight, along with manifest management and record keeping
* This position requires you to be able to work in many different environments: indoors, outdoors, at heights, noisy environment, and in all seasonal weather conditions

Job Requirements:

* Ability to work independently
* Attention to detail and focus on quality
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Computer proficiency

Education and Work Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or another related field
* 1-3 years in industrial environmental management preferred
* Environmental compliance knowledge
* Disciplined compliance to standards
* Physical requirements of this position include: field activity involving routinely lifting equipment weighing up to 25 lbs., frequent standing and walking, moving in confined spaces, climbing stairs, inspecting equipment requiring reaching with hands and arms and use of hands to handle or feel, and frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
