Job Id: 2765 # of Openings: 0 In Vivo Molecular Biologist Position Overview Advanced Testing Laboratory is seeking a In Vivo Molecular Biologist to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality. Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide flexible and adaptable support to a Neuroscience team.
  • Scientific Support including but not limited to ELISA, Western Blot, cell culture, aseptic technique, assay screening, general prep, liquid handling equipment, plate readers, etc.
  • Experience in animal handling, including animal dosing and extractions.
  • Hands on surgery experience, stereotaxic ideal - but not required. Bone cutting, CT, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, professional communication, flexibility, and ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Critical thinking and proactive communication and escalation.
  • M.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, and/or Neuroscience background
  • Lab experience with solution/reagent/sample prep, mammalian cell culture lines, cell-based functional assays including ELISAs, protein/RNA purification assays, etc.
  • Use of laboratory equipment including but not limited to Liquid Handlers (Hamilton), Acoustic Dispensers (Echo), Reagent Dispensers (Multidrop), Multi-Mode Readers (MSD, Envision), Plate Sealers/Desealers, automated Incubators, collaborative robotic arms, pipettors, centrifuges, incubators, biological safety cabinets, balances, etc.
  • Animal handling and surgery experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot and document.
  • Organized, ability to multi-task, analytical skills, professionalism, communication skills, attention to detail, aseptic technique.
  • Software includes software specific to instrument(s) for capturing and analyzing data, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint, etc.), LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, etc.
