Essential Duties
  • Analyze industrial/commercial/municipal facilities with respect to environmental risk.
  • Compare client operations to environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Directly interface with clients to identify problems, develop efficient and compliant solutions, and oversee the implementation of the solutions.
  • Assist clients with prioritizing and mitigating environmental risk by developing efficient and compliant solutions to elevated client risk scenarios.
  • Develop, implement and maintain client specific written programs/manuals/protocols adhering to local, state & federal environmental regulations.
  • Review and research regulations - keep clients abreast of any changes to laws/regulations that impact their organizations and analyze organizational impact.
  • Assist with information gathering for environmental permitting and reporting (e.g., hazardous waste, air permits, wastewater, stormwater, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent soft (people) skills; ability to work well with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients as well as regulatory agencies.
  • Self-starter and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Computer skills: MS Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years minimum environmental health & safety experience in consulting or general industry preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar field of study required or equivalent industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations including: Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conservation & Recovery Act and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act.
