Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, an American Foods Group Company has opportunities for QA SQF Supervisor at our East River plant.If you are looking to advance your career, join the AFG family where you can be apart of providing quality beef products to over 40 countries around the world.As a QA SQF Supervisor, you will:Update, maintain, and implement pertinent regulatory documents and records, product specifications, quality assurance records, and quality assurance personnel records/ files.Enforce and monitor quality programs for products manufactured.Help establish and monitor the acceptance criteria for our product and controls the disposition of nonconformance.Assist with assuring all products produced in the plant meet or exceed customer requirements for quality.Conduct comprehensive annual HACCP reassessments at each facility including a program review and functional audit of HACCP, SSOP, and pre-requisite programs and all supporting documents.Conduct Gap Analysis for HACCP Program at all facility, with special attention to validation studies and supporting documents. Periodically review all HACCP, SSOP, Pre-requisite data to assure compliance.Periodically review Flow chart to assure all HACCP components are up-to date for all facilities.Verify that all HACCP training for all employees involved in HACCP functions are current and documented.Periodically Conduct data analysis of all HACCP/SSOP related data to identify trendConduct comparative analysis of all plants HACCP programs to identify differences in functionality of the components of the HACCP plans from plant to plant. Use the comparative analysis to standardize HACCP, SSOP, pre-requisite program for the facilityPeriodic record reviews to assure accuracy of records.Keep the plants updated on all HACCP related notices, directives and regulations.Develop and lead the implementation of the SQF systemProvide maintenance and continuing improvement for SQF systems.Review and approve all SQF documentsCoordinate bi-weekly SQF meetings as fitting with the Food Safety Team and the Food Quality Team to discuss and report issues, concerns and improvements to maintain the integrity of the SQF systemResponsible for overseeing the employee training processes to ensure the successful completion and implementation of all required trainingsResponsible for staying current on all SQF updates and changes and communicating these changes to the Food Safety and Food Quality TeamResponsible for validating changes to the SQF system as they apply to producing safe foodMaintain appropriate paperwork and yearly documentation.Required to communicate and work together with management and production workers develop and maintain systems that promote quality.As needed, confer with management, customers, and other representatives in the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and enforcing the quality assurance program in conformance with customer requirements and production schedules.Analyze and interpret quality data and submits the results to designated personnel.Provide leadership for the Quality Assurance department.Work with Government agencies and auditors.Responsible for crewing, scheduling and training of Quality Assurance employees.Participate in plant management and operational meetings.Conduct line meetings with the quality assurance personnel.

Qualifications:
Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science in the following disciplines preferred: Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or other biological sciences. Bachelor degree in other areas will be considered OR 5 years quality assurance experience at a supervisory level is required.HACCP certified and demonstrate excellent understanding of HACCP, GMP, and SSOP.Strong background in inspection and auditing activities.Working knowledge of statistical software and AS400 inventory system is a plus.Must have detailed and practical knowledge in plant sanitation practices.
