The Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a one-year, non-tenure-track General Faculty Assistant Professor position with an emphasis on Plant Ecology for the 2021-2022 academic year expected to begin August 25, 2021. The new hire will teach three classes or sections in both the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. One or more class will have a lab in addition to the lecture.
QUALIFCATION REQUIRMENTS: A terminal degree is required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Experience teaching Ecology classes is preferred, but not required.
