YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Technician, are to:
The primary responsibilities of this role, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Technician, are to:
- Be a member of HSE teams in the respective organization (division, country, site and functions);
- Develop and/or execute HSE processes and activities, including Audits, Workshops / Trainings;
- Support continuous optimization of processes and unit operations concerning HSE;
- Participate in respective expert communities within BAYER as well as external collaborations;
- Focus on one or few of the following topics/tasks;
- Be responsible for methodologies for hazard identification, evaluation and mitigation;
- Evaluate criteria for safety, protection quality;
- Be accountable for HSE management system including. in particular processes like auditing, performance evaluation, continuous improvement cycle;
- Be in charge of any of any field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Medicine, Biosafety, Process and Plant Safety, Environmental Protection, Transport Safety, and Warehouse Safety;
- Represent other special areas with HSE focus, i.e. radiation safety, construction safety etc. as required;
- Be responsible for substance Classification (Dangerous Goods and Product Safety) and substance Registration.
