What You Will Be Doing -Design, build and screen mammalian expression vectors for delivery of genome editing tools (with goal of targeting human tissues)
-Design/execute experiments based around synthetic biology
-Present findings to the team and keep a highly detailed lab notebook with plans/timelines
What You Need for this Position -PhD in Bioengineering, Cell or Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology or similar
-Experience with CRISPR-Cas gene editing systems and delivery technology
-Expertise in..
-the latest molecular and cellular biology techniques
-use of mammalian cell reporter systems, screening in human cells, and readout by FACS and NGS analysis
-molecular biology, RNA and protein analysis
