Description:
As a Research Associate in the Mammalian Biology group, you will be part of a diverse team of scientists and engineers to develop our mammalian platform for the next generation of Digital Genome Engineering platforms. You will be responsible for supporting mammalian cell-related workflows that drive innovation to improve our editing platform. This is an exciting opportunity to build capability and technology from the ground up.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and bank human cell lines in culture to support cross-functional teams
• Establish and perform cellular assays
• Perform established molecular assays (e.g. PCR, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry)
• Carry out routine quality control testing for cell culture

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• B.Sc. in a life sciences-related discipline
• 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in an industry setting
• Experience with mammalian tissue culture for routine cell maintenance and banking
• Flow cytometry and basic molecular biology experience preferred
• Desire to work in a team environment and collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
