Research role for research group at Boston University and affiliated with the Framingham Heart Study and Boston Universitys Alzheimers Disease Center. This multi-faceted position requires someone who is mature, independent, self-initiating, and comfortable working in an unstructured, non-traditional, dynamically evolving research environment with little supervision. The studies are centered on cognitive aging, Alzheimers disease and involve technology integration into research methods and analytic tools. Role will oversee a variety of research projects per PI direction and will facilitate the engagement of students or employees in accordance with the PIs objective. Will help support students who follow defined research aims. Serves as the interface between internal and external constituencies for assigned projects facilitating administrative demands, working with BU legal and procurement on research/vendor agreements across a broad range of private industry collaborators, and taking primary responsibility for working with the IRB to get approval for projects which requires multiple levels of scrutiny because of the number of technologies being used in the research project. Minimum requirements include a bachelors degree in psychology or related field, or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience in research and willingness to work non-traditional hours.
