We are currently looking for a Microbiology Solutions Lead to join our growing Team. Duties include:

· Provide department leadership through training and developing team members for success Production Solutions Department

· Schedule manufacturing of test lots and analysis of product performance microorganisms according to the appropriate DMR, policies, and procedures.

· Prioritize and organize workflows within the lab to make sure critical tasks get completed according to timelines.

· Maintain accurate tracking system on the status of product development, product enhancement, assay status and product/process transfer

· Work with and inform Production Solutions Manager on the status of production, effectiveness of the quality management system and assessing opportunities for improvement, the need for changes and to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Report and assist Production Solutions Manager with any cited production activities and personnel competency deficiencies in a timely and responsible manner.

· Researches and investigations product failures and report to Production Solutions Manager

· Confer with other leads/supervisors/managers to coordinate operations and activities within departments or between departments.

· Facilitate training and transferring of product enhancement process to other productions department.

· Assists with development, manufacturing, quality control (QC) of microbiology products and transfers necessary details to other function units (Production/QC/Packaging) as needed.

· Fill out and record all applicable production documentation.

· Perform and document that specified productions, labeling and storage functions and activities are recorded on each Device History Report (DHR) and comply with the provisions contained with the DMR.

· Document research to support new product enhancements validations, verification, qualification, and specification/performance and statistical analysis as they apply to the company's products and according to policies and procedures

· Perform new product enhancement research and development under supervision.

· Support development and production of product line extension that fall within the scope of current product lines.
What makes you a good fit?
· Four (4) year degree in relevant field (e.g., biology, microbiology, virology, cell biology molecular biology, food science)
· At least 3-years hands-on experience working with cell culture or microorganisms.
· One year of scheduling experience preferred
· One year of lead experience preferred.
· Knowledgeable on aseptic technique.

· Knowledgeable with formulations and basic chemistry techniques.
