Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations.
Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS.
Assists in a variety of duties to include, sampling, observations, training and inspections and procedure standardization.
Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met.
Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.
Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives.
Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.
May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
