American Geosciences is a very successful and well-respected environmental consulting firm located in the Pittsburgh area.
We are seeking a candidate with zero to three years experience to work on Phase I environmental site assessment, site investigation, site remediation, asbestos survey, and geothermal testing projects. The position is 50% office and 50% field work. Job duties include gathering information, collecting samples, working with subcontractors, writing reports, etc. Candidate will work directly with project managers and senior management.
Candidate must have a degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field.
The successful candidate must demonstrate skills in gathering information, consolidating data, interacting with people, collecting samples, and writing. Candidate must be able to work independently, as a team player, and lift 40 pounds.
