The Fiber Supply Manager position is responsible for the management and coordination of fiber deliveries into the Orange Mill. Duties include team leadership, fiber supply planning, wood cost forecasting, and logistics & inventory management. The position reports to the West Region Manager and is expected to work closely with the Mansfield/Red River Fiber Supply Manager and other peers to maintain enterprise focus on the Region.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic planning
• Manage a balanced portfolio of fiber supply options and inventory
• Leverage Manufacturing Excellence philosophy and resources to achieve positive change
• Leadership to the Orange Fiber Supply team including responsibility for the Orange Mill scale house and fiber quality lab.
• Ensuring optimized wood sourcing plans are updated and maintained, maintaining a balanced portfolio of wood supplies and adequate inventories
• Leadership for the Orange Mill Joint Team
• Leading change to achieve continuous improvement
• Being intimately knowledgeable of the current state of the fiber supply business in the operating area
• Providing developmental opportunities for direct reports
• Creating a high level of engagement and a safe work environment for all team members,
• Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with Mill partners, key suppliers, and external customers.

SCOPE:

• Leads team of 6 including 3 direct reports.

• Responsibility for $80 million of fiber purchases.
• 2.5 million tons of round wood, chips & fiber fuel direct purchases
• Optimize delivery of fiber to the Orange Mill while working with other Fiber Supply Managers to optimize sourcing across the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Forestry, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years experience in fiber supply or related field
• Well-grounded in business management with a working knowledge of supply chain management.
• Candidates should have a working knowledge of the use and application of forecasting and optimization models.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products and SAP
