Title: Associate Scientist / Sr. Associate Scientist, Stem Cell Biology

Location: Waltham, MA

Reports to: Director, Regenerative Medicine

The Role:

ElevateBio is actively recruiting an Associate Scientist / Sr. Associate Scientist PSC T-Cell Differentiation R&D. This individual will report to the Director, Regenerative Medicine and will possess excellent scientific/technical skills. This person will be a part of the R&D team focused on demonstrating proof of concept for directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells to T-cells.

Here's What You'll Do:

• Reproduce existing early-stage T-cell differentiation protocols
• Execute studies to optimize T-cell directed differentiation and improve cell composition/function
• Implement process improvements required for clinical manufacturing
• Develop and optimize analytical tools to assess differentiation efficiency
• Work with collaborators/colleagues to execute in vitro efficacy studies
• Record results in laboratory notebooks and draft relevant SOPs
• Prepare data summaries and present in meetings

Requirements:

• BS with 3+ years laboratory experience
• Industry experience preferred
• Understanding of stem cell biology principles and experience with directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells
• Preferred experience in analytical methods including qPCR/ddPCR, immunostaining, flow cytometry, ELISA
• Detail-oriented, organized, and technically competent
• Highly adaptable and responsive, and committed to completing tasks in a timely fashion
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment as a team player with a strong work ethic
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including supporting documentation in laboratory notebooks and study reports for regulatory filing activities
