Responsibilities
The Professional Project Manager for deployment will support the FBI related projects to manage secure work environment requirements for cost, schedule, and quality. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk) for individual projects
- Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scopes of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate and budget, work plan schedule and milestones, quality control, and risk identification
- Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualificiation process; conducts standard to complex requests for proposal; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to client; supports coordination of site visits for installation locations as necessary
- Leads project delivery team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals
- Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informs; facilitates project meetings
- Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements; ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated
- Tracks project of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
- Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk
- Identifies complex project risks, lead project reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or elimiate project risk
Qualifications
BA or BS degree with at least 10 years of experience in designing and construction of secure work environments in compliance with intelligence community directives
Top Secret/SCI CI Poly
Minimum 10 years of experience in design support and installation of video teleconference systems
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents and respond effectively to sensitive issues
Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and article; ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, and all levels of management
Ability to draw upon analysis of others and make recommendations that have a direct impact on the mission of the client
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) and experience using SharePoint / Office 365 tools preferred
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI CI Poly
