Position Summary: This is a hands-on, full-time position, working in an Environmental Specialist, Jr. role that will provide consulting (program preparation - HMBP, Haz Waste Management, Hazmat/Haz Waste Transportation) and site audits to and for the clients to comply with environmental & safety regulations. Provide OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act), Environmental (Title 22/RCRA, HMBP, SPCC) & Transportation (DOT, IATA, IMDG) training programs.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
  • Perform site audits and evaluate EHS (Environmental Health Services) services for specific needs of clients or government agencies.
  • Prepare and submit hazardous materials business plans on behalf of clients.
  • Responsible for Client program development, preparation of technical findings, and present in report format.
  • Present report findings to the client after internal review.
  • Instruct students and clients using various formats, in-person, webinars, and virtual.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree - Area of study: Environmental Science
  • Specific certification or licensure: Preferred, but not required - CDGT, CHMM, CIT, CSP, REHS

Experience
  • 5 or more years of experience Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act), Environmental & Transportation regulations

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Public speaking skills, able to function in diverse work environments and relate to diverse class groups.
