Microbiology Laboratory Technician

Title: Microbiology Laboratory Technician
Location: Newark, DE
Schedule: Day shift
Responsibilities:Perform routine testing on client samples in a microbiology laboratory setting
Daily performance of pipetting, both single channel and multi-channel pipetting
Ability to follow appropriate SOPs repeatedly throughout the day
Perform documentation on all testing in a clean and organized manner
Perform data entry in Excel

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science
Experience working within an industry microbiology laboratory required; experience working in an academic microbiology laboratory will be accepted
Ability to perform general laboratory techniques, including pipetting, plate streaking, etc
Experience accurately recording data
Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques is preferred
