Manpower is looking for long-term Lab Analysts for RB, formally Mead Johnson Nutrition, a leading infant formula manufacturer located in Zeeland, MI.
Day and Night shifts available in multiple labs see additional details below
All training is done on 1st shift
Pay Rate: $16 with raises after 90 days and 6 months -- off shift premium. .
Candidate must have science background, either a College Degree in a Science related field or previous Lab Experience.

Day shift opening - Microbiology Lab
Job Description:
Microbiology Laboratory Analyst in an industrial quality control lab setting, emphasizing aseptic sample handling, autoclaves, cultural and rapid/instrumental microbiological techniques, strict adherence to procedures, efficient time management, and attention to detail. The analyst will:
- Provide support and guidance for autoclave trouble-shooting to ensure on time release.
- Ensure no launch delays due to missed quality commitments and/or testing requirements.
- Effectively use laboratory automation and information systems.
- Maintain laboratory in compliance with cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Continually develop and implement best laboratory practices to improve laboratory performance and efficiency, such as method development, etc.
- Work in a fast paced laboratory environment using teamwork and interpersonal skills to accomplish goals and provide quick turnaround of media preparation demands to support the entire Microbiology Laboratory.
- Perform and effectively communicate control data information and identify trends in a timely manner to support issue investigation and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in occasional production environment sampling

Job Description:
Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientist in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for purposes, such as research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences.
