Director of Operations- Environmental

BRIC, a subsidiary of Diné Development Corporation, provides environmental consulting services to federal, state, tribal, and commercial customers across the United States. BRIC is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our team of project managers, technical experts, and support staff.

• Coach and develop a team of strong leaders and high performers. Create, model, and support a culture of excellence in execution, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Craft innovative approaches for handling complex requirements in a wide range of transactions and contract types by balancing the opportunities and risks created for various functional teams who look to you for solid analysis, sound judgment and creative and practical contractual guidance.
• Lead and manage organization operational performance
• Recommend resources, processes, and behaviors to maximize profitability for the company.
• Proven record of implementing organizational changes
• Assists in responses and development of RFPs and RFIS, including project estimates
• Ability to manage team workloads for different projects and deliver on a set schedule.

Technical Skills:
• Experience using an integrated ERP system to manage operations financial performance
• Superb written and verbal communication skills. Experience presenting to senior leadership, customers, and large groups.

Competencies Required:
• At least 10 years of demonstrable, hands-on technical experience in environmental consulting
• Experience in Project Management from start to finish
• Environmental consulting and project management experience with Federal Government contracts is required. Experience in the western U.S. is preferred.
• Experience working with corporate Human Resources, Contracting and IT departments and integrating operational functions within this departments.

• Experience working for a small business.
• Must be able to pass a standard background check

Certifications:
PMP Certification is desired

Minimum Level of Education:
Bachelor's Degree in related field required
Master's Degree in related field is desired.

Travel up to 20% may be required!
