How will you make an impact?
Provide support for routine analyses in microbiology by following standard practices. Support internal development and/or manufacturing operations. Make detailed observations and reviews, documents, and communicates test results.
What will you do?
- Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing, Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
- Receive samples from manufacturing with attention to detail for any compromise of sample integrity.
- Support routine bioburden testing of solutions and raw material per compendial methods and established methods.
- Support routine endotoxin testing of solutions and raw material per compendial methods and established methods.
- Support environmental monitoring team for water collection and production monitoring.
- Recognize and report out-of-specification or unexpected results.
- Clearly and accurately communicate the results of work by documenting of the testing/analysis and acquired results.
- Record and report results of analysis in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems (LIMS).
- Perform daily lab cleaning, preventative maintenance of equipment, ordering of supplies, and autoclaving of equipment.
- Perform disposal of materials following safety SOPs.
- Maintain the vital compliance status required by company and facility standards.
How will you get here?
- Associate's degree in Science; preferably Microbiology or Biology
- 0-2 years of previous lab experience
- Equivalent experience working in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to standard procedures.
- Ability to function in a constantly evolving environment
- Proficient use of Microsoft office.
