The selected candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of programs and policies to ensure timely regulatory compliance, business alignment, and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) objectives are met. Work closely with internal and external partners, including regulatory agencies to obtain permits, resolve inspections and meet the facility regulatory obligations. This position will report directly to the business owners.

- Timely review and approval of customer material profiles
- Work on regulatory compliance programs with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members and managers to enhance EHS implementation strategies
- Maintain current knowledge of environmental legislative and regulatory developments
- Practice strong communication and build rapport with federal, state and local regulators while resolving any issues as they arise.
- Develop, implement, and oversee environmental, health and safety programs, permits, and licenses
- Collect, track, and compile inbound and outbound material data
- Conduct meetings to facilitate communication between management and team members to influence company culture to achieve environmental excellence.
- Collaborate with different business units (operations, financial, sales etc.)
- Partner with, encourage, train and motivate team members across the organization to achieve goals
- Preform environmental assessments to include: regulatory applicability determinations, strategy development, training needs, internal auditing, and evaluation of facility compliance.
