Project Manager - Environmental Remediation

This position is based in Florida, but our selected candidate must be agreeable to regularly travel to Puerto Rico to support client, project and fieldwork oversight needs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees a portfolio of diverse environmental portfolios and supervises staff.
• Manages client interaction and financial and resource allocation.
• Provides senior project oversight and expert technical input on complex projects.
• Assists in the review and approval of project related documents and deliverables.
• Evaluates subsurface characteristics for environmental assessments and remediation projects.
• Conducts performance reviews and project team meetings to review current and future projects, discuss project and/or employee issues, and staff workloads.
• Ensures adherence to client and corporate contract specifications in all activities including Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.

• Must be agreeable to regularly travel to Puerto Rico to support client, project and fieldwork oversight needs.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Science or a related major.
• 8+ years of related experience. Experience should include: environmental assessment and investigation coordination and oversight, technical report writing, remedial alternative analysis, remedial action planning and execution/oversight, and management of retail petroleum and/or industrial project work.
• Working knowledge of Puerto Rico's environmental regulations is desired.
• Technical writing experience and report preparation is required.
• Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate that they have successfully managed multiple site portfolios.
• Must be self-motivated and possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving, communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, client service skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) is a plus, but is not required.
• Professional certification a plus (PG or PE).
