We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team! We keep the lights on anywhere there is a power line - whether in the city, the rural countryside, or deep in the remote forest. As an ECI Project Coordinator, you will keep communities informed about their landscape near the right-of-way to ensure safe delivery of their power. This person will work from home approximately 80% of the time and 20% in the field.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Project coordination to ensure completion of work in a timely manner, including anticipating and planning for unforeseen delays.
- Ensure completion of all post-clearing commitments, regulatory and non-regulatory.
- Work with multiple teams to track customer commitments.
- Assign properties to landscape designers for plan creation for approved properties.
- Coordinate landscaper installation.
- Scheduling other committed corrective actions (stump grinding, lawn restoration, remediation of environmental locations, etc).
- Participate in project meetings.
- Track all commitments to completion.
- Provide weekly update of progress and completed work to project team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Prior Project Coordination experience.
- Local tree identification and physiology.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer-focused communications skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving and skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communicate skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work well in team situations with many stakeholders.
- A productive work from home space.
WHAT WOULD BE AMAZING TO HAVE:
- Degree in Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, Forestry, Natural Resources, or related degree.
- Prior experience working in back office for landscaping company preferred.
- Prior landscaping experience and/or running landscape crew preferred.
- Landscape design, installation and nursery basics.
- Prior Utility Vegetation Management experience preferred.
- ISA certification a plus.
- Familiar with GIS software/technology.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ECI FORESTER:
Working Environment
Majority of work will be from a home office but potential for working alone in an outdoor field environment; vehicle and foot patrol of utility power lines; remote locations as well as urban, city environment; physical demands and travel from site to site, including walking/hiking on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills, and slopes; exposure to noise, dust, grease, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions. Reasonable accommodations, if available, may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
Physical
The team member must have sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment; to walk up to 10 miles per day, stand, sit, and operate a motor vehicle for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, run, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp and make repetitive hand, arm and shoulder movement in the performance of daily duties (e.g., forcefully beat down brush); carry, push and/or pull light to heavy amounts of weight, frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs. (sandbags); to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; ability to verbally communicate to exchange information with public; ability to see and hear in normal range with or without correction; operate assigned field equipment, including handheld computer, range finder, and traffic cone.
