UC Clermont College provides student-centered undergraduate education in an open-access, regional college environment. We foster diversity as well as intellectual, cultural, and social development in our community . UC Clermont College has an enrollment of approximately 3,500 students and is located in Batavia, Ohio, thirty miles east of the University of Cincinnati's downtown campus. We offer a variety of Associates degrees, two-year technical degrees, and certificates and also prepares students for transition/transfer into baccalaureate degree programs. UC Clermont's open-access mission presents a unique opportunity for faculty with a strong commitment to provide a solid foundation for students at all levels to develop their academic skills and reach their educational goals.
UC Clermont College is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty for the upcoming academic term. Courses to be taught include Biology major and non-major lectures and/or labs, and Microbiology. Classes meet face to face classes and may be day or evening.
Essential Functions
Teaching is assigned in 1 to 3 credit-hour sections; office hours are required in order to meet with students as needed. Appointments are renewed based upon departmental need, enrollments, and teaching performance. Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials.
Minimum Requirements
Master's or PhD degree in Biology or related field required, with demonstrated ability or prior teaching experience.
