The Senior Environment Specialist is responsible for supporting compliance with state and federal environmental regulations and with environmental permitting. This position provides technical assistance for the development and implementation of the Company's environmental strategies, including but not limited to air, water, waste and environmental management systems. Is familiar with Company assets in order to identify areas and make recommendations for environmental compliance. Supports environmental training staff in the regulations and assists with compliance activities.

- Oversee permitting projects and provide senior level regulatory guidance and technical support and submit permits within regulatory timelines
- Maintain compliance with NSPS Quad O/Oa reporting
- Coordinate Greenhouse Gas emissions inventory reporting
- Facilitate emission event reporting
- Ensure NSPS JJJJ and MACT ZZZZ compliance including recordkeeping and agency notifications
- Coordinate SPCC Program including annual Inspections
- Maintain list of facilities and equipment for Tier II Oil and Chemical Inventory submittals
- Validate as-built facility equipment and specifications for Air Permitting
- Represent the company during air compliance investigations
- Coordinate required environmental training with HSE Training Group
- Conduct Environmental Site Assessments for Acquisitions, Mergers, Trades and Divestitures
- Audit Waste Disposal Facilities including third-party SWDs and Landfills
- Coordinate NORM Surveys and oversight of NORM Waste Disposal
- Evaluate appropriate Environmental Sustainability and Governance metrics and statements
- Support incident management operations
- Keeping abreast of emerging Environmental requirements and Best Practices
- QA/QC of sampling data
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Environmental related field
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations. (EPA, RRC, TCEQ)
- Working knowledge of E & P operations
- Ability to work with other departments and outside contractors or regulatory agencies in an effective and professional manner
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient skills and effective use of Microsoft Office
