*Environmental Health and Safety Manager - Bothell, WA*

*Overview:*

We are hiring for an EHS Manager for our Bothell, WA location. The Manager, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) will report to the National Manager, EHS and be responsible for managing the EHS support for the operations. The EHS Manager will also support other facilities in the Northwest United States. The EHS Manager will reinforce leadership values by transforming EHS area into a sustainability focused, proactive operation that will help drive the company's vision.

*Responsibilities:*

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) support to the site in Bothell, WA.

• Provide Shared Services to other affiliated companies including Visual Sonics in Toronto and the repair center in Amsterdam. Also provide some additional support to Affiliated Group Companies in the Northeast including FNAC Portland and HLUS Auburn, WA facilities.

• Drive EHS excellence at the designated facilities.

• Support sustainability programs for the designated facilities.

*EHS Support includes but not limited to:*

• Creating, managing and up-keeping the EHS management systems according to corporate requirements or ISO 14001.

• Champion the ISO 14001 EMS system including objectives and targets.

• Support the EHS systems (WERCS/ ETQ/ LMS) across the designated companies.

• Manage all EHS permitting for the designated sites

• Manage and own the following programs including Clean Air Act (CAA) Clean Water Act (CWA), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Hazardous Materials Transportation, Hazardous and Non Hazardous waste management, Comprehensive Emergency Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and etc.

• Manage and report to authorities relevant reports including Hazardous Waste, Community Right to Know, etc.

• Conduct risk assessment according to the company's methodology.

• Manage safety for the designated sites including developing programs for injury reduction, root cause analysis, etc.

• Manage the chemical management system for the designated companies using the WERCS system (SDS's, FRC 101/102, S classifications, etc.)

• Manage DOT/ IATA Dangerous Goods compliance.

• Oversee EHS training and ensure compliance with the training requirements.

• Manage waste according to both the federal and state requirements.

• Support product compliance from an EHS perspective including global requirements (REACH, ROHS, etc.)

• Support HLUS Auditing program

• Implement Tokyo or HLUS programs/ requirements as needed.

• Support and manage the emergency preparedness and response for the site.

• 15% Travel required for the position.

*Required Skills & Education:*

• Environmental Health & Safety experience

• Audit experience in the EHS field

• Budget and vendor management experience

• Good written and oral communication skills

*Desired skills:*

• 5-7 years of progressive responsibilities

• Problem solving skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good customer service skills

• Time management skills

*Education:*

• BS in Engineering or Science or equivalent work experience in the EHS field. Advanced degree or certification(s) a plus.
