Alliance Solutions Group is currently seeking a Force Protection Analyst - Occupational and Environmental Health to conduct research and development, studies, assessments, tests, and validations of relevant scientific and technological tools, methods, processes, training platforms, and programs and by formulating and implementing improvements. Experience with the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness system is highly desirable.

Successful applicants will assist in:
  • Optimization of Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineering process system to enhance the performance, health, and fitness of every Airman and to sustain unit effectivenesss.
  • Conducting Total Exposure Health (TEH) related research and development
  • Incorporating environmental, workplace and lifestyle exposures into individual clinical and operational decisions
  • Enhancing operational OEH threat surveillance and mitigation
  • Developing materiel and non-materiel solutions to predict, monitor and control operational OEH threats
  • Creating a scheme and tools to harmonize all DoD OEH risks
  • Conducting health risk assessments and developing common operating practice documents based on lessons learned and best practices

Essential Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop common operating practice documents based on universal Bioenvironmental Engineering processes.
  • Research, assess, and analyze policies, guidance, procedures, programs, risk data, training, detection equipment use, and knowledge management related to Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH), drinking water programs, radiation safety and incident response.
  • Develop and deliver OEH risk assessments and training
  • Execute literature searches to identify exposure science knowledge gaps
  • Develop and execute analyses for the understanding of predicting the probability for developing disease
  • Test OEH threat surveillance, analysis, and visualization solutions to determine their efficacy
  • Develop the standardized processes and training required to promulgate solution implementation
  • Develop policy recommendations, TTP and tools that will effectively harmonize risks
  • Test recommended solutions to determine efficacy
  • Develop methods and tools to generate scientifically-defensible OEH sampling and analysis plans.
  • Maintain currency in relevant job knowledge to ensure responsibilities are successfully executed
  • Navigate decision-making based on the core values of the company maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Plan and complete work in a manner that reflects commitment to and supports achievement of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety goals

  • Bachelor's Degree required in related field and at least 5 years professional experience
  • Experience using the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS)
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting and evaluating data to assess trends and developments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Current United States passport by start date
  • Must possess professionalism and integrity; be accountable, trustworthy, and task-oriented.
  • Ability to travel throughout the year and work beyond normal business hours when required to complete essential responsibilities
  • Able to lift and carry minimum 25 lbs. occasionally
  • Able to stand or walk for periods of 8 hours or more
  • Work in various climates from extreme cold or heat
  • Walk or stand on uneven terrain
  • Able to squat/ bend/ kneel / twist / turn / reach above shoulder
  • Sit extended period of time
  • Utilize computer keyboard (type) and accessories repetitively and for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in related field

Travel: This position requires approximately 25-35% travel to various locations in both CONUS and OCONUS
