The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support execution of projects involving soil and groundwater investigation, compliance, and remediation activities in accordance with the Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, or other regulatory programs.
- Assist in preparing environmental science-related calculations, tables, and figures.
- Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories to assist in interpreting and analyzing data.
- Provide office support for data management and report preparation.
- Ability to work independently with diverse staff in office and non-office settings.
- Must demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications.
- Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related science field
- Valid U.S. driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in related field a plus
- Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a project team and a fast-paced environment
- OSHA- HAZWOPER 40 Hour Training a plus
- First Aid, CPR experience a plus
