Job Description
This position aids in conducting day-to-day operations of the Neuropharmacology Laboratory's in vivo COBRE Phase III, Neuropharmacology Core. This includes performing rodent-based drug screening assays.
Job Responsibilities
Conducting in vitro screening of compounds derived from natural products using in vivo screening techniques in rodent models of addiction, nociception, stress-related disorders and memory, among others. Performing all assays in a rigorous and reproducible manner. Assisting with data entry/analysis.
Minimum Education/Experience
B.S. in related field (neuroscience, psychology, biology, biochemistry, etc.) and 2 years related experience.
