Biology Subject Matter Expert
Key Role:
Leverage scientific knowledge to support biological or biochemical research agendas in a consulting capacity, working closely with government program managers on complex research programs. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with research and development in a biological or biochemical subject
-Experience with communicating technical concepts to non-technical individuals
-Ability to develop technical solutions and author whitepapers
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a Life Sciences field
Additional Qualifications:
-2 years of experience in the Intelligence Community
-2 years of experience with forensics and methodologies for human identification
-2 years of experience with proteomic analysis and associated analytical methodologies
-1 year of experience as a technical SETA
-1 year of experience with spectroscopic chemical detection
-1 year of experience with laboratory chemical detection techniques
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-MS degree preferred; PhD degree a plus
