We are looking for a cell line development scientist, engineer, or regenerative medicine expert to join our team in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina!

  • You have conducted experimental research or project design involving at least one or more of the following: molecular and cell biology, signal transduction, cell culture, biological and biochemical assays, statistical analysis, coding for life sciences
  • You are comfortable performing critical analyses and interpreting data for actionable decision-making that impacts the greater company
  • As a life-long learner you keep a pulse on current relevant scientific literature and innovation within your field
  • You like to move fast, but are able to maintain meticulous record-keeping

Qualifications & Preferred Experience
  • Education
    • PhD or Masters +3 years hands on research experience in molecular, cell, or developmental biology, conducting original research involving genetic modulation of mammalian cell behavior and signaling pathways
  • Required
    • Must be willing to be in-person in Raleigh-Durham, NC
    • Mammalian cell culture: strong aseptic technique and experience culturing primary cells and creating immortal cell lines
    • Experience characterizing cell line stability Molecular biology: vector design, vector construction RT-qPCR, and PCR
    • Experience with a variety of single-cell cloning methods Experience with multiple gene-delivery techniques
    • Hands-on experience with genetic-engineering tools (i.e. CRISPR, recombinases, lentivirus, transposons, shRNA/siRNA)
    • Experience building bioluminescent or fluorescent reporter assays
  • Preferred
    • Hands-on experience with several of the following: epithelial tissues, organoids, genome-scale or high throughput pooled and arrayed screening, flow cytometry/FACS, RNA seq and NGS sample preparation and analysis, tumorigenicity and oncogenicity testing
    • Experience mentoring junior scientists is a plus
    • Experience with stem cells is a plus
