JOB DESCRIPTION
General Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process including:
Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager
Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals
Assists in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities and makes frequent recommendations based on detailed analyses and applying results to drive improvements
Adapts precedent and may holistically change standard operating procedures to develop new solutions
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of Related Experience with Bachelors degree, 8+ years of related experience with Masters, 5+ years of related experience with PhD
Preferred qualifications - 10-15+ years broad based experience including project management and internal consulting roles
