HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Driving Key Programs - Coordinate and maintain plant environmental health, safety and wellness programs. You'll masterfully oversee medical management, employee health and productivity programs, workers compensation reporting and case coordination, OSHA reporting and recordkeeping, employee assistance programs, family medical leave and short- and long-term disability case management, among other programs.
- Working Together with Facilities and Engineering teams - Collaborate with the Facilities and Maintenance teams for safe design reviews and troubleshooting equipments that could impact employee health and safety. You'll also support the environmental health and safety manager in administering environmental, health, and safety programs and initiatives as assigned. Together, let's keep going - above and beyond!
- Setting the Pace - Participate in plant environmental and safety committees and serve as safety training coordinator. You will provide quality education on OSHA and EPA requirements in order to foster a safe working environment and prevent workplace injuries
- Managing Tools for Success - Maintain plant environmental health and safety data management systems. We've got the systems, we just need your world-class organization and management skills to enhance our approach!
- Focusing on Data - Track, report and analyze safety and environmental performance metrics. You'll gather information related to sustainability programs, monitoring key figures while also managing the maintenance of facility environmental health and safety action registers.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or a related area
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA programs:
- + Waste Management
- Water conservation
- Air Permitting
- Metrics reporting
- Ability to work 2nd shift (M-F)
Bonus Points:
- EHS Training
- Industrial Hygiene sampling - noise & asbestos
- Performing EHS facility inspections
- Incident investigations
- Performing EHS Assessments - risk, machine guarding, confined space and ergonomic
- ASP or CSP certification
- Title V air permitting experience
- OSHA 30 hour
- EMT or advanced medical certification
- HAZWOPER 40 hour
- Emergency Response
