The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will support the companys clients to develop plans to help them improve their health and safety challenges. The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will conduct workplace audits, surveys, and assessments to provide insight and consultations for corrective actions to promote a healthy and safe workplace. Training clients and employees will be an essential part of the role for this Environmental Health & Safety Consultant. They will be responsible for performing accident investigations, documenting the event, and develop future corrective and preventative actions. This Environmental Health and Safety Consultant will be required to stay up to date on all EHS regulations, standards, and provide the appropriate information to their clients.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience
Background in construction, industrial hygiene, manufacturing, or chemistry preferred
Working knowledge of all Environmental Health and Safety regulations
Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, NEC, Building Codes, and any other applicable regulations and guidelines is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Related Field
