Laboratory Resources Technician

Description:
In this position you will provide for the care and daily observation of animals (Guinea Pigs and Mice) as required to assure continued accreditation through the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International (AAALAC), and the continued availability of unique stock of guinea pig for use in product release testing. Staff must be qualified through education and training to carry out the necessary program requirements.

• operating autoclaves / cage washers / manual cleaning of caging and facilities.

-This position will be assisting in the lab maintaining a high level of cleanliness. operating autoclaves.
-They will be working cleaning cages, filling feeding dishes and water bowls. This is all done in a warehouse separate from where the animals are.
