We are a novel biotechnology company focused on molecular biology to create fool-proof cell therapies for our patients in need. We are located in Cambridge, MA, and we are currently working remotely with the home of being in person in the near future.
If you are driven by the need and want to help people through your scientific knowledge, please apply now!What You Will Be DoingAs our newest Molecular Biologist you will work among our Stem Cell team to support molecular biology function to develop novel stem cell therapies for our patients. To do that you will design and lead projects focused on mRNA, vector engineering, construction, production and delivery into mammalian cells. You will clone DNA, perform mutagenesis, perform plasmid preparations, work with DNA/protein sequence analyses, perform human pluripotent stem cell culture, deliver cargos to cells, and monitor live and fixed cells stained with IF.What You Need for this Position- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular/Cellular Biology , with a strong molecular biology background- 1+ years of industry experience or 2+ years of post-doc experience
- Experience leading research projects
- Experience in culturing mammalian cells & human induced pluripotent stem cell culture
- Experience with somatic cell reprogramming is highly preferred
- Cell viability & immunofluorescence experience
- Standard & advanced molecular biology techniques, primer design, cloning, plasmid manipulation and preparation, PCR, and genomic DNA isolation
- Working knowledge of current methods for mRNA delivery into mammalian cells
- Bonus points for experience in processing NGS data
