YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Molecular Biologist Scientist, are to:

  • Possess extensive knowledge of molecular biology software (e.g., CLC Bio), and modern cloning techniques;
  • Be experienced with biochemical and cell biological assay development;
  • Support the development of specific plans and acts as the hands-on, primary researcher to deliver technical success in cloning and expressing multiple protein targets;
  • Forecast work schedules and resources required for success in assigned specific discipline;
  • Communicate frequently with project teams and other scientists on functional teams to assure understanding of progress and gaps and to align on primary and contingency plans;
  • Sustain clear knowledge of current status and plans for area of research responsibility, and new developments in assigned technical discipline;
  • Generate experimental results to support proprietary developments, intellectual property, and freedom to operate. analysis, and reporting to manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science with at least five years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Plant Biology, or related field OR Master of Science with at least two years of relevant experience OR Ph.D. with relevant experience;
  • Insight into enzymology as well as genomic, proteomic, and metabolomic analyses;
  • Demonstrated competency and success in Self-motivation and operational excellence in research execution;
  • Collaborative spirit;
  • Extensive knowledge of modern cloning techniques and molecular biology software (e.g., CLC Bio);
  • Solving technical and logistical problems to sustain progress toward goals;
  • Supporting cultural and technical diversity to effectively engage broad thinking and problem solving;
  • Activating to action in times of clarity and ambiguity;
  • Developing personal and technical competencies.

This role may provide relocation.
