Responsibilities:
- Manage practices
- Bi-annual Fume Hood Face Velocity
- Annual Glove Box Inspection and
- Monitoring ( and noise)
- Spills (spill kit inspections, cleanup and disposal)
- Conduct related 5S Inspections
- Identify and select proper PPE for specific chemicals
- Initial and annual training on Chemical Plan and Hazard Communication Plan for all team members
- Serve as the TSCA Coordinator
- Manage for any chemicals requiring R&D exemption or special associated with SNUR/SNUN or consent orders
- Responsible for the 8c/8e allegation reporting
- Manage the NCAP 2.0 (New Approval Process)
- Manage the entry of chemicals into inventory and maintain the system for accuracy

- Manage import and export of all chemicals, materials, samples to and from ITC and guide Shipping/Receiving Clerk on the actual shipments from the ITC
- Procure and restock chemicals as needed
- Train new team members on chemical and responsibilities (Team Member on-boarding)
- Address management of change of chemicals in the ITC
- Print and apply required labeling for all chemical containers as applicable

- Store chemicals in appropriate locations and equipment according to info
- Manage all SDS documents and update as needed
- Manage liquid and solid waste streams and disposal process along with conducting weekly inspections of all waste accumulation areas
- Manage disposal of old chemicals and samples
- Manage the off-boarding of team members leaving the company - reassignment of chemicals, samples, processes and equipment
- Manage training of new team members on chemical and assist with regulatory as needed
- Manage Respiratory at the ITC
- Selection of proper respirator and cartridge
- Medical clearances (initial and annual)
- Fit (initial and annual)
- Training
- Conduct periodic reviews to determine air (emissions) and water permitting for the ITC
- representative on the Facility Aspect Identification Team
- Verify risks are Identified for all processes and equipment
- Identify risks for all new processes and equipment during the NER or MOC process
- Conduct annual review of the aspects along with the team
- representative on the Sustainability Team
- Manage ITC (Sequoia and OMEX) including team member and janitorial training
- Manage (Ravago and Hydroblox)
- representative on the Facility Crisis Management Team

Required:
- BS degree in Engineering or or equivalent with strong background preferred.
- 3-10 years' experience with EPA regulations (water, waste and air) with knowledge of desired.
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to assist with research projects in the is a plus
- Must have a proactive approach to working safely in a R&D type environment.
