Multiple postdoc positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Meng-meng Fu at NINDS to study the fundamental mechanisms of oligodendrocyte cell biology, myelin plasticity, and white matter damage and repair. Ongoing projects include: microtubule organization, mRNA transport, ribosomes and local translation, liquid condensates and protein aggregation, and neurological diseases.

Qualifications:
We use a variety of interdisciplinary techniques and interested candidates with experience in any of the following fields are strongly encouraged to apply:
Biophysics - cytoskeletal dynamics assays, in vitro motility assays
Biochemistry - organelle fractionation, recombinant protein purification
Cell Biology - primary brain cell culture, live-cell confocal microscopy
Proteomics, transcriptomics
Transgenic mouse models
Human brain histology
