Position Summary:
The selected scientist will perform the quality-control and analysis of omics datasets, predominantly RNA-Seq to: assess M.O.A. hypotheses, inform pharmacodynamics (PD) and response biomarkers design, and guide patient stratification strategy. This role will be highly collaborative, interacting with ICF Computational Biology scientist as well as ICF biologists and clinicians.
In addition to delivering analyses of on-going projects, the selected candidate, in collaboration with the ICF Computational Biology, will review the current RNA-Seq analysis workflow design and propose and implement state-of-the-art solutions to streamline the process.
Requirements:
MSc or PhD in bioinformatics, statistics, physics, genetics, or similar
3+ years of hands-on experience with next-generation-sequencing data pipelines (secondary analysis) and downstream analysis (tertiary analysis)
Strong experience in R
